Simple rules for how a quote gets built
Lighting work is rarely identical from one job to the next, so a single flat rate would either overcharge small jobs or starve the big ones. Instead we price on four honest factors: the fixture weight and rigging complexity, the ceiling access and height, the electrical work needed, and the travel distance from Regency Park. You see each of those as a line item, never a lump sum.
- Fixture weight and anchorage requirements stated in kilograms.
- Ceiling height, void depth and access constraints noted in the survey.
- Electrical work itemised separately from fitting time.
- Travel and freight quoted at cost with no margin added silently.
If a cheaper option will work, we will tell you plainly and put it in the quote. That approach has kept our repeat-client rate above ninety per cent for the last five years.
Weight Bands
Under 15 kg, 15 to 40 kg and above 40 kg each attract different rigging rates.
Ceiling Height
Standard, double-height and stairwell drops priced per metre above 3.2 metres.
Electrical Scope
Existing circuit, new dimmer or new dedicated line, each quoted clearly on its own.
Travel & Freight
Metro Adelaide included, regional South Australia charged at cost per kilometre.
Chandelier packages
Three bands cover the vast majority of residential chandelier work we do around Adelaide. Custom heritage and import jobs are quoted individually once we have seen the ceiling.
Room Refresh
Best for a dining or bedroom pendant under 15 kg with existing wiring and ceiling structure in good order.

Prices shown are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. Travel outside the Adelaide metro area is added at cost and always disclosed on the quote before you accept it.

How payment and scheduling work
Deposit
Custom and imported fixtures require a deposit to confirm the order and lock in supplier lead time.
Methods
Card, bank transfer and approved trade accounts, all with receipts issued on the day.
Scheduling
Installation dates are confirmed once materials land in the warehouse, so no rework waiting on backorders.
Invoice
Every invoice breaks out fixtures, labour, electrical and travel on separate lines.
Everything clients ask before signing a quote
An LED scheme involves design time, reflected ceiling plans, driver selection, cabling and commissioning. A single fixture swap is one ceiling access and no design work, so the scope is far smaller.
No. The first consultation inside the Adelaide metro is free, including a basic ceiling check. Regional sites are quoted a modest travel amount that is credited back if you proceed.
Only if we find something the survey could not reveal, such as damaged joists or hidden wiring. Any change is quoted in writing and only proceeds with your approval.
Yes. Bundling three or more rooms in one visit typically saves ten to fifteen per cent because travel, setup and site time are shared across the job.
Bulbs are included on the Room Refresh band. Dimmers and dedicated circuits are quoted separately because the required part depends on the fixture and the existing switchgear.
Stock items can usually be cancelled before dispatch. Custom orders already in production may incur supplier costs, which we pass on honestly. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
