Most lighting advice online is written by people who have never hung a 40-kilogram crystal chandelier in a heritage ceiling. We write these articles because the questions clients ask in the showroom are the same ones people search for at midnight, and the answers are rarely as complicated as the industry likes to make them sound.
Every article comes from a real job. When we say 2700K works better than 4000K above a dining table, that is because we have swapped the bulbs and watched the difference in a hundred homes around Adelaide. When we say commissioning catches the problems, that is because we have measured lux levels after handover and watched clients finally relax.
